The team Indraprastha gets ready to write their annual examinations!
Due to the priorities that need to be given to the academics, we will not be able to update our blog on a regular basis now, as we used to.
But, nevertheless, we’ll keep in touch.
Once back from the mission, the team members made the arrangements to collect the required books and notebooks. An announcement was made in the school and the students were urged to donate their old books and notebooks. It was a amazing know that the students and the parents, alike, were willing enough to donate the old and discarded books and notebooks if they could be of some help for the poor and under privileged.
Armed with the material to be distributed amongst the slum children, the team Indraprastha once again visited the slums. An enormous crowd gathered to receive the books and the notebooks. The team members had a fruitful day as they distributed the books and the notebooks. The ray of hope and the glimmer in the eyes of the slum children was the perfect return gift the team members could have asked for.
The team Indraprastha visited the slum area to conduct a survey to determine the level of literacy amongst the children there. The survey was also conducted to determine the subject in which the slum children may be facing the difficulty in. The idea was to procure the books and notebooks of those very subjects and distribute them amongst the under privileged. The response the team got was overwhelming and heart rendering. The experience was a unique one for the team members, too.
